From its highest vineyards, rising over 550 meters above sea level, you can often catch a glimpse of the Tyrrhenian Sea, shimmering some fifty kilometres to the west. The coast’s influence arrives as a steady breeze, helping to moderate both humidity and temperature.

For those of us who work in wine, harvest doesn’t begin with the first bunch of grapes we pick. In a way, the countdown starts as soon as the previous harvest ends: from that moment on, everything we do is a gradual build-up to the next one.
